The reading of this famous person’s numerological chart is irrefutable proof of the pertinence and effectiveness of the Maia method. While it seems pointless to specify that he was a brilliant American director, actor, writer, producer and scriptwriter, we must do so in order to find the parallels between his life and the numerological reading. This passionate and particularly inventive man managed to revolutionize every aspect of the seventh art with great gusto. He did not hesitate for a second to deviate from the beaten path and this brought him great notoriety. It should not be forgotten that he received many laudatory reviews even though the public at the time were not yet able to apprehend or appreciate this cinematographic revolution. This is proof that he was ahead of his time and that he never hesitated in his exploration of new horizons. He was without a doubt a pioneer and the Maia method is going to reveal this personality, and much more besides, in his chart.

First of all, we think it is necessary and indispensable to stress that his life path 27/9 reveals a true humanist nature, an extreme sensibility and a natural empathy, all of which allowed him to apprehend the world in a holistic way. This trait made him a non-combative person who did not seek to force his point of view on others or make them follow him. The natural diplomacy of 9’s and their ability to overcome obstacles was extremely present in this figure who remained nonetheless mysterious. Throughout his life he always strove, whether consciously or not, to be impalpable and difficult to apprehend. Most of us in possession of a revolutionary method would want to impose it on others, but this was not the case for him. He expressed his sensibility much more through artistic expression that through the vindication of his discoveries; he showed rather than imposed. This figure is, and will remain, mysterious and in any case that is what he left us with. The indefinable mysterious intuitive and inspired nature of this source element is strongly emphasized irrespective of the method used because it is linked to his date of birth.

The “traditional” method taking into account his first name Orson (he has no middle names) and his family name Wells would reveal a person with an Aspiration 22, a Potential 9 and an Expression 4. However, this does not at all correspond to this person’s innovative mind. The classical method portrays an entity who does not in any way want to question the established way of doing things (4 and 22 are static and conformist numbers, the exact opposite of revolutionary). This would mean that Orson Wells was a conformist who did not want to rock the boat. Frankly, that description does not resemble him in the slightest.

On the other hand, the Maia method, which takes into account his mother’s maiden name Ives instead of Wells, reveals an Aspiration 8, a Potential 11 and an Expression 1.

It is not possible to disagree that under the cover of a diplomatic and consensual 9 lurked an assertive spirit which denounced society’s mistakes and in particular its power struggles. No doubt his karmic memory knows more than anything the effects of greed which makes people want to impose their own points of view on others. The 8, in this particular case, reveals a quest for power that was no doubt present in his previous lives. Therefore he, more than anyone, thanks to his natural empathy, had a sharpened awareness of it. In any event, this is what he managed to convey through images.

As for the 11, it highlights his inventiveness, his verve and his ability to explore previously unexplored cinematographic territory. This master number contains energy; it wants to free itself from the weight of tradition. In short, it wants to explode. Once again it is useful to emphasize that the karma linked to this master number will multiply the number of back roads punctuating this great man’s career and life. Despite his determination, he will face many obstacles and overwhelming incomprehension from his contemporaries.

His Expression number 1 pushed him to start projects and impose but this virile expression (1) does not always complete what it has started. Pioneering 1 often starts things but only rarely finishes them, tending to rely on other people to finish the job… Therein lies one of the aforementioned back roads. Furthermore, Orson Wells, in his time, had too many opponents to be able to rely on his juniors or even his colleagues. 1’s are innovators and, whether or not they recognize it, they need to be surrounded by people who believe in their projects. That is why Orson Well makes us think of an unfinished work.

Nevertheless, for some people, he remains a sort of “foo fighter” (of Martian origin?) who beat many new paths that he was the only one to explore in his lifetime and that he did all that only for himself. He did not impose them on others, no doubt due to a lack of obvious support but more because of his true nature 9. It is not always easy to understand geniuses!
